About Jo Major
Recruitment is not fair and accessible, we’re CHANGING that!
Too many people are still locked out of opportunity because of how recruitment is done. We believe a fulfilling, successful career should be within reach for everyone, not just those who fit the mould or know how to ‘play the game’. Let’s reshape recruitment into something that works for everyone.
About
Jo Major
Ex Recruiter, Former Global Recruitment Trainer, now an established DEI Practioner
With over 25 years in recruitment, Jo knows the industry inside out and she’s not afraid to challenge how it works.
She’s the founder of Diversity in Recruitment and a driving force behind real, practical DE&I change in hiring and talent attraction. Jo’s work focuses on reshaping recruitment cultures through strategic training programmes that don’t just tick boxes, they improve candidate experience, attract underrepresented talent, and boost employee engagement.
A recognised voice across the UK recruitment space, Jo is a sought-after speaker, podcast guest, and panellist at major industry events including Rec Expo, TiARAs and the Recruiter Investing in Talent Awards. She collaborates with organisations like Talint, TEAM, Bullhorn, The Access Group, Recite Me, JAAQ at Work, HR World and the CIPD to push DE&I further up the agenda.
Jo’s mission is simple: to put inclusion, equity, and accessibility at the heart of how we hire and make recruitment better for everyone.
